Rotarians are doers. Show them a problem and they look for solutions. The 2020s will be a decade where they focus on projects that protect our local environment.
Protecting the environment
Rotary club of Maleny are committed to supporting activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment. Join us in one of our local environment activities.
Properly Dispose of Batteries
Batteries contain hazardous materials that pollute the environment when disposed of in landfills with cadmium and mercury; the toxic poisons contaminate soils and water. Rotary Maleny has built a purpose built sealed container where you can drop off your used batteries at the Star Discount Chemist in Maple St, Maleny.
