Rotary opens opportunities
Rotary International is an association of individual clubs with each c lub operating autonomously. Membership is extremely important to us and we are always eager to hear from individuals who are interested in our mission and in joining our Rotary club. Our universal premise is that the membership of each club constitutes an accurate reflection or representation of the business and professional population within the community served.
Why join Rotary?
Rotarian members will tell you from a personal perspective that Rotary provides a place to make great long term friendships, develop interpersonal, team and leadership skills whilst focused on fulfilling community needs at both the local and international community levels. Our programs are far-reaching and encompass a wide variety of local projects, as well as international issues such as hunger, health, and education.
How does it work?
You don’t have to be a Rotary member to get involved with Rotary. We have fellowships, groups, and exchanges for all ages and interests.
You’ll be invited to get to know the club better by attending a club meeting, a social event, or even to join in on a service project as a volunteer.
Now that you and Maleny Rotary club have spent some time together and determined that you’re a good fit for each other, you will be invited to join.
Once you join, you will be encouraged to lead a service project, organize a social event or become involved in a community project
